About Me

Assoc. Prof. Andaç AYKAN

Dr. Andaç AYKAN is 43 years old, married, and the father of 2 daughters. He has been serving in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery for more than 15 years.

He graduated from the Gulhane Faculty of Medicine in 2003. He became an Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery specialist by completing his residency education in GATA Plastic Surgery in 2011.
He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2017.
He worked as a Lecturer at Istanbul Yeditepe University, Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery between 2017 and 2020. He carried out education and training activities at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine.
As of August 2020, he has been continuing his clinical studies and serving his clients at Aykan Clinic, which he established in Istanbul Nişantaşı.

Awards He Won and His Notable Achievements

He completed his “Fat Tissue and Stem Cells” thesis in 2011.
He received the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery National Competency Certificate in 2011.
He won the Second Prize in the national competition organized by the Turkish Surgical Association with the work he carried through “Fat Tissue and Stem Cells” in 2011.
He represented our country in the European Plastic Surgery Research Competition in Munich, Germany, in 2012.
He presented his experimental studies at the University of Michigan in the United States in 2012.
He was awarded the First Prize in the Experimental branch in the Expert Research Competition organized by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association in 2015.
He published works by doing many studies and research at the international and national levels. He has more than 50 academic articles, both in Turkey and abroad. He made chapter authorships and book translations in different academic books. He is the author of 7 book chapter authorships and 27 book chapter translatorships related to his branch.
He carries through presentations as an invited speaker at scientific meetings in the area of Aesthetic and Plastic surgery and takes part as an instructor.
He participates as a guest in many TV and Radio programs related to his expertise and writes articles in newspapers, magazines, and press organs.
